The UK legal market is very competitive and there are a significant number of companies supplying Solicitors of every size with software packages designed to meet their unique needs. Tim utilized his technical and development background to build and lead a successful team, taking Insight from two to over 40 staff members between 2011 and 2023. Servicing 1,000 Solicitor firms across the UK and Ireland, Insight became one of the most significant suppliers to the market. Following a successful sale of Insight Legal in 2023, Tim is using the skills and experience gained to help other companies on their success and growth journey. Being familiar with the practical implementation of a number of Strategic Growth Methodologies, Tim is well placed to help a diverse range of firms meet their potential.
Prior to founding Insight Legal, Tim was with AlphaLAW for many years, including as Technical Director. Like Insight Legal, AlphaLAW was a provider of Software for Law Firms. During his time at AlphaLAW, Tim was responsible for overseeing the development of the latest generation of software products and ensuring these met both the current and future needs of customers. This required building and maintaining high performing teams who could remain client-driven whilst also remaining conscious of commercial imperatives. Following its acquisition by Iris Software in 2011, Tim left and shortly after found Insight Legal.
